U.S. Renal Care is holding an in-person interview day at Mercy Plaza Home for a Home Therapy Registered Nurse (RN) on May 14, 2024, from 9am to 5pm CST. A Home Therapy RN trains home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients on their modality so the patient can do their treatment in the comfort and convenience of their own home. This is a highly sought after skill set and at U.S. Renal Care you will find us open to training a non-dialysis background! We Will Train!

The In Person Interview Day will be held at 5264 Council Street NE, Suite 200, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402

As a Home Therapy RN you can expect the following:

• Work Schedule - Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm; Modified schedules are possible based on patient caseload at the facility.
• Competitive on call pay when placed in rotation after completion of training. On call is phone triage.
• Occasional home visits are required.
• Holidays - Home Training Nurses rarely work a holiday.

Requirements include:

• Current RN license in applicable state. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
• 12 months of clinical experience in providing nursing care.
• Previous experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis preferred but not required.
• CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment.
• Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Must successfully complete the Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program and maintain annual demonstration of skills and competency applicable for the modality assigned.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
