Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • With direction ensure accurate and timely shipment of products to customers.
  • Efficiently package and label orders for shipping.
  • Manage inventory effectively and accurately.
  • Prioritize workload with a sense of urgency based on facility needs.
  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • With some supervision verify incoming shipments against bill of lading and packing lists.
  • Receive and transfer products through internal MAPICS software system.
  • Generate product, or procedure labels as needed.
  • Support internal customers through staging of material.
  • Adhere to all safety and security procedures.
  • With limited direction, accurately perform cycle count.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or minimum of 1 year experience in warehouse, manufacturing, mail room, office assistant, or other similar role.

Other Skills and Abilities

Capability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Basic math skills and knowledge of units of measure. Skills computing rate, ratio, and percent and drawing and interpreting bar graphs. Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
