The People Resource Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of human resource support duties to support the HR team. You will help support the maintenance of the HRIS, employee records/files, onboarding, and other Human Resource programs and policies as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees, applicants, visitors and vendors while providing legendary customer service by assisting with questions and problems courteously and promptly
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information such as employee relations concerns, personal employee information and organizational changes
  • Effectively record, maintain and report human resource information
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Company's benefit plans and assist in the Open Enrollment process
  • Support the hiring process from an administrative perspective, completing all required steps
  • Support the new hire orientation process as needed
  • Gather and organize information for unemployment claims
  • Assist in the administration of the drug test program by maintaining and communicating drug test screening results to appropriate leaders
  • Provide general administrative support, including but not limited to, preparing correspondence, forms and reports and processing confidential reports and documents
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
    • Adheres to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications: Education

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
  • Associate Degree in Human Resources preferred

Qualifications: Experience

  • 2+ years of Human Resource Assistant experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) required
  • General knowledge of human resource practices and policies, and applicable state and federal laws
  • Strong background in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS); knowledge of Service Now or Cherwell is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
  • Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs
  • A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems
  • Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making
