Senior CDL Class A Driver
Pay: $27.00 -29.00per hour Depending on experience
Shift & Working Hours Day shift; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.
In this role, you'll be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. transportation team who transport agricultural materials to customers and other locations. You will operate within an assigned regional area.
This driving role is local, and you will be home nightly. You will be a "go-to" employee with extensive job knowledge and driving experience.
This role is part of our WinField United business who supplies agricultural inputs, expertise, and technology to our member-owners and other partners.
Required Experience: - 3 or more years of commercial driving experience
- Current driver's license
- Class A Driver's License (CDL)
- Hazmat Endorsement
Preferred experience: - 18 years or older
- Tanker Endorsement (can obtain post hire)
- Ability to utilize a pallet jack
- Customer-focused and collaborative, with strong communication skills to effectively engage with owners and customers, ensuring their needs and feedback are promptly and accurately addressed.
- Complies with FMCSA and DOT regulations of drivers
- Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision
- Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks
- Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members
- Applicants must also be able to demonstrate the following competencies: acts with integrity in products, processes, and relationships; delivers results efficiently & effectively; embraces roll as individual contributor.
Physical Requirements: - Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
- Required to work scheduled shift which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime
