Project Controls Analyst

Description

Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is looking for a Project Controls Analyst to collaborate with Turnaround and Project teams across KAES sites to leverage integrated processes, systems and data to analyze performance, forecast results and guide adjustments which help deliver competitive cost outcomes.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Collaborate with Project and Turnaround teams to align on cost management plans and ensure execution.

• Apply Principle Based Management Principles to cost management practices.

• Partner with stakeholders to analyze costs, derive insights, and communicate outcomes effectively.

• Ensure team alignment of cost structures with execution plans and KAES standards.

• Improve data integrity using KAES processes.

• Facilitate effective change and risk management throughout the project lifecycle

• Build strong relationships to become a preferred partner.

• Challenge the status quo and drive improvement of the cost and insights capability.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

• Experience working jointly with cross-functional teams.

• Able to adapt and be proficient in learning new processes, technologies, or systems within a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working through complex problems.

• Experience in data analysis and converting insights into action.

• Experience in prioritizing daily tasks to enhance stakeholder value.

• 2-year college degree in a Business or Technical field.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience in cost management practices like forecasting, change management, WBS/CBS buildup, and risk management.

• Experience in Turnaround or Capital projects within industrial or construction settings.

• Advanced experience with project, reporting and analytics software such as Alteryx, Redshift, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.

• Familiarity with tools like EcoSys, Maximo, or @Risk.
  • 4-year college degree in a Business or Technical field.
