Guardian Industries is hiring a Shipping Coordinator in DeWitt, IA. This is a full-time position.

Our Guardian Glass facility in DeWitt, IA, is seeking their next Shipping Coordinator! Start your career not just a job. For this role, we will pay $21.00 an hour to start, $21.50 an hour at six months, and $22.00 an hour at the 1 year of service.

The Shipping Coordinator owns visitor management and will work with the team to coordinate efforts in the lot and on the dock to address changes and needs. This role requires collaboration across departments to optimize efforts and a collaborative leadership approach to ensure safe, compliant, and scalable operations during changes and adjustments.

HOURS FOR THIS ROLE: 8: 00am - 4: 00pm Monday through Friday

What You Will Do

• Review loads to ensure availability, resources, accuracy, and documentation. Communicate with appropriate parties to resolve challenges

• Manage daily administrative tasks such as but not limited to; collecting BOL paperwork for review and filing, managing inbound quality concern tracking, record inspection documents, receiving inbound shipments, timely email communications and follow-up on open issues, and validating shipment detail accuracy and closures

• Communicate daily needs to OTL and team members

• Work with supervisors and teams to improve efficiency and communication

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational objectives.

• Experience providing guidance, coaching, or support to team members in a manufacturing or operational environment.

• Experience creating and maintaining work instructions, procedures, or operational documentation.

• Experience using Microsoft Excel to maintain records, analyze data, or generate reports.

What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience in problem solving within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or continuous improvement
  • Experience with advanced Microsoft tools (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) and/or Power BI
