Maintenance Helper

The Wittern Group is seeking a Maintenance Helper to join our team. This is an entry-level learned position that provides on-the-job training to our employees. This role is perfect for those with interest in skilled-trade careers or individuals looking to start their career in Building Maintenance or relating fields. As our Maintenance Helper you will learn how to preform the following duties under supervision of the Maintenance Manager: Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructionsAttends to minor machine repair, change lights, fill LP tanks, lubricate equipment, make equipment inspection and various building maintenance tasksComplete tasks as directed with minimum supervisionEnsure work is done safely and meets quality standardsProvide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given taskReports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisorPerform other duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this positionKeep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilitiesDesire to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethicFollow all company rules and policies
