Cabinet Sander / Metal Finish

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructionsComplete tasks as directed with minimum supervisionEnsure work is done safely and meets acceptable quality and speedProvide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given taskRequired to wear PPE Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisorRun air tools including grinder and sanderPerform other duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this positionKeep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilitiesDesire to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependable work ethicFollow all company rules and policies KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Adequate communication skills; verbal and writtenAbility to read and understand written instructionsAbility to run air tools including grinder and sander PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physically able to do bending, twisting, gripping, grasping and liftingAbility to lift up to 75 lbs.Physically able to stand for up to 8 hoursRequires good hand-eye coordinationAbility to move large doors on and off carts and onto tables and move cabinets around EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience/combined education.
