Based in our Marshalltown, IA location, you will lead the development and implementation of a Continuous Improvement Projects to increase bookings and profitability through improved customer experience and operational efficiency.
As a Continuous Improvement Manager, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Identify improvement opportunities in the Flow Controls NA World Area organization.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement Continuous Improvement opportunities.
- Map information and process flows to streamline processes across the value chain
- Champion a continuous improvement culture
- Create and drive use of new methods and tools for evaluating customer experience
- Collaborate internally and externally to continuously improve processes, best practices and tools
- Support the community of Continuous Improvement expertise to collaborate and support goals
- Develop and Champion increased understanding of Continuous Improvement tools and personal ownership across North America Flow Controls
- Coach and support the teams with their activities in Continuous Improvement
- Work together with the Lead Time Innovation Leader in executing operational improvements and lean strategies
- Lead and coach Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) sessions
- Manage projects within budget and ensuring timely completion.
- Maintain work processes within lean, standards and training documents
- Train and coach the employees and support the managers on Continuous Improvement methodologies

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or other related field or 5 years experience in related field
- Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
- Proven background in Project Management, Change Management, or Consulting Experience
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Three (3) years of experience in flow controls business, products, or market understanding
- Proficient with Microsoft data analytics tools (Excel, MS SQL, Power BI)
- Experience leading a significant change effort
- Facilitation or consulting experience
- Lean or Lean Six Sigma certified
