Job Purpose: Oversee and strategically manage all aspects of the distribution and warehousing operations.

Essential Functions:

Planning and Reporting: Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategies with broader Sales and Distribution goals, ensuring efficiency and responsiveness. Prepare regular performance reports highlighting trends and improvement areas. Support strategic initiatives from senior management to drive growth and operational excellence. 20%

Operational Efficiency: Oversee and optimize distribution operations to ensure efficient handling, storage, and fulfillment that align with quality standards, cost objectives, and customer expectations. Implement and monitor standardized procedures for inventory management, equipment reconditioning, packaging, and shipment accuracy. Equip and motivate the team for high performance. Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, transportation costs, and inventory turnover. Engage in cross-functional projects to enhance distribution efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement across EFCO's North American network. Foster team skills through training, coaching, and performance management to build a high-performing team aligned with EFCO's values and strategic goals. 30%

Customer Service : Act as the primary liaison between Distribution and Sales to meet customer needs and service objectives, aligning cross-functional efforts with EFCO's commitment to operational excellence. Address customer feedback promptly to resolve distribution issues and maintain high satisfaction. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and transportation partners, to enhance supply chain alignment and efficiency. 15%

Quality and Safety: Create a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, partnering with cross-functional teams to execute EFCO's distribution strategies focused on quality, accountability, safety, and high performance. Enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs using continuous improvement methods, including Lean and Six Sigma. Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality processes/protocols, regulatory standards, and company policies through regular audits and corrective actions. 15%

Requirements:

College degree or equivalent, plus 6-8 years experience in manufacturing or distribution. Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to complete basic mathematical calculations is essential. Excellent communication, problem solving, organizational, and PC skills are required. Must work effectively under pressure, exercise good judgment, and be a good negotiator. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Some travel is required.
