Description:
Prepare, label, and process samples for routine laboratory analysis
Perform laboratory tests and analyses following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
Accurately record test results, observations, and data in laboratory systems or logs
Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
Follow all safety protocols, chemical hygiene plans, and PPE requirements
Assist with quality control (QC) checks and troubleshooting out-of-spec results
Support audits, inspections, and documentation reviews as needed
Properly dispose of laboratory waste in compliance with regulations
Communicate results and issues clearly to supervisors and team members
High school diploma or GED; associate degree or coursework in science preferred
Basic knowledge of laboratory practices and safety procedures
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
Associate or bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field
Experience in a manufacturing, environmental, clinical, or research laboratory
Familiarity with GLP, GMP, or ISO quality systems
Experience with lab information systems (LIMS)
Ability to perform basic data analysis and reporting
Standing for extended periods and handling laboratory equipment
Working with chemicals, biological materials, or industrial samples
Use of required PPE including lab coats, gloves, and eye protection
