Duties and responsibilities

In addition to hands-on experience in Accounting or Finance, the Amsted Rail Finance Summer Internship will afford the intern:

• formal orientation and on-boarding

• regular interface with Finance leadership

• end of internship presentation to the Leadership Team

• interactions with our Senior Leaders throughout the program

Qualifications

• Medium to Advanced Excel experience with knowledge of functions such as Vlookup and Pivot Tables

• Knowledge of General Accounting Guidelines (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley controls (SOX)

• Motivated individual that is able to multitask and stay detail oriented

• Preferably an accounting/finance major completing sophomore year or higher
