The
Segment and End User Marketing Communications Leader is responsible for the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for defined businesses and segments. You will deeply understand customer personas, market trends, and the competitive landscape to drive demand, brand authority, and revenue growth.
Position will directly report to Vice President, Marketing, Greater India, Schneider Electric and part of Marketing and Communications India Leadership Team
Key Responsibilities- Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute the annual marketing plan for the defined businesses and segments, aligning with overall business goals and sales targets.
- Customer Insights: Conduct deep-dive research into segment-specific pain points, buying behaviours, and emerging trends to inform messaging.
- Positioning & Messaging: Craft compelling, segment-specific value propositions that differentiate the company from competitors.
- Demand Generation: Partner with the Growth and Performance teams to design multi-channel campaigns (email, SEO/SEM, events, social) that generate high-quality leads.
- Sales Enablement: Create bespoke sales toolkits, including case studies, pitch decks, and battlecards tailored to the segment's unique requirements.
- Product Liaison: Act as the "voice of the customer" for the product team to influence the roadmap based on segment needs.
- KPI Management: Track and report on segment performance, including pipeline contribution, conversion rates, and ROI on marketing spend.
Required Skills & QualificationsExperience12+ years in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or strategic role with Tier 1 B2B Companies
AnalyticalStrong data skills including Salesforce.com, Marketo, Google Analytics and Other CRM tools. Strong Market Research and Customer Analytics skills
CommunicationExceptional storytelling skills; ability to translate complex technical features into business benefits. Knowledge of PR and External Communications, Strong Digital Marketing skills including Account Based Marketing, Performance Marketing, Lead Gen Campaigns
CollaborationProven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams.
EducationBachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business, or a related field + MBA from a Tier 1 Institute
