Description:

About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Segment Sales Specialist to join our team, focusing on the Renewable Segment (Solar, Wind, Hydro, Pumped Hydro Storage, Green Hydrogen, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Hydro or Green Hydrogen segments and will be responsible for business development with a targeted key account end-user approach, leveraging Schneider Electric's strengths in Digital, Automation, and Electrical Distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Application Understanding: Understand customer applications, decision-making units, and pain points.
  • Action Plan Development: Build and follow action plans to develop Schneider Electric's presence in these applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Solution Architects and Offer Marketing to develop prescription documents as needed.
  • Performance Measurement: Measure and report the results of actions taken.
  • Value Proposition Targeting: Target customers with segment-specific value propositions.
  • Credibility Development: Work to develop Schneider Electric's credibility with customers along with sales teams and promote solutions.
  • Market Segment Action Plans: Contribute to defining and implementing action plans targeted at market segments and ensure follow-up and prescription.
  • Market Growth Methodologies: Propose methodologies to grow the size of the market/market segments (standards, prescription, promotion).
  • Competition Monitoring: Monitor and analyze competitors' actions by market segments and work closely with Marketing to define counteractions.
  • Pricing Strategy: Elaborate the solution pricing strategy by segment and monitor its implementation.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Education: BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in the prescription of products and solutions for renewable segment.
  • Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in Hydro or Green Hydrogen segments will be given preference.
  • Business Understanding: Strong market knowledge in the area of work, with vast exposure and awareness.
  • Market/Product Knowledge: Expertise in MV/LV segment products such as Transformers, switch gears, RMU, PSS, AIS, GIS, Substation Automation, Process Automation, Asset Management, Protection relays, LV Panel, MCC/PCC, etc.
