What is the job?
As Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring all goods and services required for hotel operations in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner. You will work closely with Operations, Finance, Stores, and Receiving teams to ensure uninterrupted supply, cost efficiency, and adherence to company and brand standards.

Your day to day

People
Coordinate with Finance, Stores, Receiving, Kitchen, and operational departments to ensure smooth purchasing processes.
Guide and support departmental teams on purchasing procedures, specifications, and approved supplier usage.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Promote ethical purchasing practices and cost awareness across all departments.
Guest Experience
Support seamless guest experiences by ensuring timely availability of quality products and services.
Work with operational teams to ensure purchasing decisions support service standards and brand quality.
Resolve supply and vendor-related issues promptly to avoid operational disruptions.
Financial
Source goods and services at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.
Obtain competitive quotations and negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms.
Ensure compliance with approved supplier lists and purchasing policies.
Review and approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance.
Coordinate with Cost Control and Finance teams to achieve budget targets.
Ensure accurate posting of purchase orders and proper documentation.
Support month-end closing, accruals, and purchasing-related reporting.
Maintain complete purchasing records and documentation for audits.

Responsible Business
Safeguard hotel assets by ensuring transparent, ethical, and compliant purchasing practices.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, brand standards, and statutory requirements.
Assist in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance & Business Support.
