Description:
Major Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports and summaries related to sales reconciliation, incoming payments
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports interface
- Identify discrepancies, investigate the causes of the discrepancies, and reconcile the accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Communicate with different departments to resolve discrepancies
- Prepare closing schedule, monthly report and analysis
- Handle customer refunds according to the company policy and guideline
- Verify the incoming payment received from different Mean of Payment timely
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
- Assists the department to establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting process and control procedures.
- Recommends, develops and maintains financial data bases, computer software systems and filing systems
- Interacts with internal and external auditors in completing group audit, statutory audit and tax reporting
- Handle Ad Hoc duties
Requirements & Capabilities:
- Bachelor or above in Accountancy or a related discipline
- Professional accounting qualification (HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications) is preferable
- At least 2 years or above relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Patient, detail oriented with meticulousness and accuracy, initiative & strong sense of responsibility
- Sense of accounting concept, able to work independently, well-organized and good time management in a fast-paced environment to meet a tight deadline
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- A good team player with interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (familiar with excel) and accounting software, SAP experience is preferrable
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Candidate with immediate availability is highly preferred
