Your assignment:

• Collection and consolidation of global environmental data points (e.g. water, energy, greenhouse gases, waste)
• Performing data analysis to improve global environmental data points (e.g. water, energy, greenhouse gases, waste)
• Management of smaller projects in the area of sustainability management, e.g. global data collection processes, data quality, KPI performance and global environmental management
  • Initiation and planning of projects and sub-projects including definition of goals and scope, work packages, structure, team building and definition of organization, budget and time planning,
  • Managing execution, monitoring progress, proposing changes and solutions as required, communicating within the team and with relevant stakeholders in the company,
  • Managing documentation and project closure,
  • Proactively ensuring that the project is managed in accordance with project management standards,
  • Actively drive improvements (independent project management, stakeholder management, problem solving, proactive risk and opportunity management, issue management, improvement identification, strategic development, time management, etc.).
• Development, improvement and implementation of guidelines, process descriptions and other documentation in the area of environment, environmental KPIs and sustainability reporting
• Support performing and improving global environmental risk assessments and scenarios, including monitoring global environmental risks and regulations
• Support the implementation and improvement of global data collection processes and systems as well as the corresponding control systems to ensure data consistency and coherence (expansion of coverage, granularity, new indicators, etc.)
• Support adapting our business practices, processes and systems to new regulatory developments (Sustainable Finance, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, Supply Chain Due Diligence, Circular Economy)

Your profile:

• Master degree in (International) Business administration or in Science or similar
• Professional experience in sustainability management, international EHS/OHS department, ESG rating agencies or also in an international consulting company in the field of sustainability/sustainability auditing, environmental protection, etc.
• Knowledge of data analysis, automation, consolidation and visualization in the field of sustainability, energy market, financial sector/credit industry
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of sustainability reporting with a focus on environmental KPIs (e.g. CSRD, TCFD)
• Good presentation skills
• Excellent English, other languages of advantage
• Excellent knowledge of MS-Office (especially Excel); experience with document/knowledge management software (especially SharePoint)
