Description

We're seeking a high-impact Project Delivery Manager to drive the successful execution of our IT infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a variety of projects ranging from high complexity, multiphase projects, to smaller Business as Usual service enhancements.

As a member of the Identity & Platform Security (IPS) team within the TechOps delivery organization, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our enterprise IT infrastructure. You'll collaborate with the IPS Technical Service Owner, Architect, and Engineers, supporting them in successful project delivery so that we achieve the goals outlined in our IT and OT services roadmap.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the following technologies, enabling them to engage in technically detailed conversations: Microsoft 365, Intune, security tooling (e.g., Defender XDR), and Active Directory. While deep engineering expertise is not required, a firm grasp of these concepts is essential for effective project contribution within this technical team.

You’ll spend your time:

  • End-to-end project management: Oversee TechOps projects from inception to completion, utilizing the TechOps Delivery model, including planning, design, execution, and transition for both new portfolio and BAU changes. This includes detailed resource planning to ensure the right people are engaged at the right time, and collaboration with Project manager peers across the organisation.

  • Comprehensive documentation: Manage the creation, review, and approval of all project documentation (charters, strategy papers, requirements, designs, plans, deliverables, communications, release notes, test reports).

  • Expert facilitator: Facilitating successful discovery meetings, requirements gathering and solution option calls. Conduct stand-ups, sprint planning, status updates, working groups, and steering group meetings.

  • Proactive risk and issue management: Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies across multiple projects and diverse resource pools (internal, external partners/vendors). Maintain RAID registers and manage release/change processes.

  • Stakeholder engagement: Ensure proactive engagement with customers, partners and vendors so that everyone has the information they need in the project.

  • Reporting: Ensuring project reporting reaches all appropriate stakeholder communities including the creation of presentational packs for different people (e.g. roadmaps, timelines, gantt views, dashboards)

  • Communication: Creation of project specific communication plans, working collaboratively with TechOps Service Director, Technical Service Owners, OCM lead and Internal Communications

  • Project administration & compliance: Administer projects within project management software, maintain alignment with the TechOps Delivery Framework and portfolio roadmap.

  • Resource management: Managing and reporting on the resourcing and capacity across the team, to ensure all team members are utilised effectively.

Your Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management/project delivery

  • 3-5 years of experience in information technology/technical environment

  • Working knowledge and delivery experience with relevant IPS technologies

  • Previous experience of working in controlled & regulated environments preferable.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Other Information

Occasional travel may be required.
