Job Description:

     

Role Summary

Leads a wide range of complex and high-impact implementation projects, ensuring delivery across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Acts as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, influencing project outcomes, shaping delivery strategies, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Management Level Definition

Applies advanced subject matter expertise to solve complex business and delivery challenges.

Operates with a high degree of independence and judgment. Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) in implementation delivery. Influences project strategy, customer engagement, and operational improvements. Provides mentorship and guidance to other IPMs and contributes to cross-functional initiatives and organizational direction.

Project Coordination Responsibilities

  • Validate site readiness and job scope versus purchased services
  • Manage customer relationships to coordinate purchased services
  • Coordinate on-site field engineer visits and integrate HPE teams based on deliverables
  • Proactively use organizational tools, procedures, and expertise to resolve delivery challenges
  • Maintain accurate project updates in PSA, including time tracking, risks, and financial or customer impacts
  • Ensure completion of project sign-off documentation and promote customer satisfaction survey completion
  • Evaluate unique circumstances, make decisions, and engage appropriate stakeholders
  • Lead complex, multi-workstream implementations, including advanced and hybrid IT solutions
  • Anticipate risks across technical and operational dimensions and design mitigation strategies
  • Act as primary escalation point for complex delivery issues
  • Ensure alignment between technical design, delivery execution, and customer expectations
  • Drive end-to-end delivery optimization across the project lifecycle

Cross-Functional Responsibilities

  • Manage workload distribution and scheduling to balance work-life priorities while meeting organizational goals
  • Provide input for process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop and execute personal and team development plans to strengthen project management and technical capabilities
  • Promote team upskilling through knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • Demonstrate and role model HPE values
  • Influence delivery strategy and process improvements at team and organizational level
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as utilization, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Mentor and coach Intermediate and Specialist IPMs
  • Promote best practice standardization and operational consistency
  • Contribute to knowledge management through playbooks, lessons learned, and reusable assets

Strategic and Advisory Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding business needs beyond immediate project scope
  • Provide input into solution approach and delivery feasibility
  • Support pre-sales and service expansion opportunities through delivery expertise
  • Identify opportunities for service optimization and growth
  • Contribute to organizational strategy and service evolution

Project Complexity

  • Manage basic and intermediate services such as system installations, upgrades, and de-installations
  • Lead complex implementations including Hybrid IT and multi-technology environments
  • Lead highly complex implementations involving multi-technology integration and high customer impact environments
  • Manage projects requiring customized approaches and non-standard solutions
  • Support or lead pilot programs and new service introductions
  • Coordinate multi-site or regional deployments

Knowledge and Skills:

Core Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Typically 6–10 years of proven experience in project management within IT, technology, or related industries.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms such as SAP and Salesforce.

  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle and technology dependencies.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and structure complex delivery challenges into actionable plans.
  • Advanced risk management, issue resolution, and mitigation planning capabilities.
