This position will be based at Vadodara Factory for Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & Automation (A unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd.)

Designation: Manager - Environment and Employee Health & Safety

Qualification: Diploma/B.E - (Electrical /Mechanical)

Certification: PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety)

Experience: 5 years to 10 years

Key Deliverables / Key Responsibilities/Deliverables (Min 4 need to be filled in decreasing order of importance)

What will you do:
  • Daily connect with different area owner for proactively identification of Safety Opportunity, Reporting & Tracking for implementation of KAIZENS.
  • Monitoring of High-Risk Activities through various Permit to Work system.
  • Identification of Hazards through HIRA & Environment Aspect Impact analysis and monitor implementation of controls.
  • Implement Global EHS policies, procedures and practices at workplace.
  • Monitor and ensure regular EHS audits and inspections carried out by plant team.
  • Manage environment aspects of plant; Waste management, emissions control, water pollution prevention, etc.
  • Driving ISO 14001, ISO 45001, 50001 internal & external audit and compliance.
  • Legal Compliance as per Factory Act & Gujarat Factory Rules, GPCB, etc.
  • Expert in Machine Safety, Electrical Safety, Work at Height and Safety integration process.
  • Lead accident investigations and environmental incident assessments while collaborating with management.
  • Leading Global Sustainability Initiatives at plant level.
