Candidates must meet the requirements< br /> of the modality in which they will be working. This position will report to the modality manager.< br /> < /p> < h2> < b> < br /> Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: < /b> < /h2> < p> < br /> Demonstrates sound knowledge in the performance of assigned modality imaging while adhering to< br /> department protocol and standards and applies the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patients, < br /> self and others.< br /> Performs imaging exams consistent to assigned modality in a variety of settings. Evaluates images for< br /> technical quality, performs post processing of data and ensures proper patient identification is recorded.< br /> Provides optimal patient care and assumes responsibility for the patient's needs during their procedures< br /> and exemplifies the philosophy of Patient Family Centered care to all.< br /> Applies the principles of patient safety during all aspects of patient care and identifies and responds to< br /> emergency situations in an appropriate manner.
