RN Clinical Nurse (Day shift)

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high‑quality, individualized patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Using the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—the nurse delivers evidence‑based, culturally sensitive care while advocating for patients and supporting their goals. The role emphasizes collaboration, professional accountability, and maintaining current clinical competencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence‑based, patient‑centered care
• Use critical thinking to individualize care plans and coordinate with the healthcare team
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and quality improvement
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor to support staff development
• Engage in ongoing education, competency assessments, and professional growth
• Support development of protocols and efficient use of resources
• Uphold ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies

Requirements

• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred
• Active RN license (single‑state or compact)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience; direct patient care preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and basic computer skills
• Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and respond effectively to emergencies
