RN Clinical Nurse

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team. This role uses the full nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver safe, evidence‑based care tailored to each patient’s needs. The nurse partners with patients and families, supports teamwork across disciplines, and maintains accurate, timely documentation. Responsibilities also include participating in performance improvement, supporting shared governance, mentoring others, and upholding professional and ethical nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized, evidence‑based patient care using the nursing process
• Provide culturally sensitive, relationship‑based care
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Ensure accurate documentation and promote a safe clinical environment• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, performance improvement, and shared governance
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to support workforce development
• Use resources efficiently and help develop protocols to improve outcome

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred
• Active RN license (single‑state or compact)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 5 years RN experience; direct patient care preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and technology skills
• Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and respond effectively to emergencies
