Description:
Speech‑Language Pathologist
This role focuses on transforming the lives of children and families through personalized, innovative speech‑language therapy. The Speech‑Language Pathologist evaluates communication and swallowing needs, develops individualized treatment plans, and collaborates closely with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members. The position emphasizes creativity, strong communication, patient‑centered care, and meaningful therapeutic impact.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Planning
• Evaluate speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to create individualized goals
• Continuously reassess and adjust treatment plans to support progress
Therapeutic Intervention
• Develop and implement engaging, interactive therapy activities
• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Encourage progress through fun, motivating treatment strategies
Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain organized, accurate clinical documentation
• Ensure all records meet departmental and regulatory standards
Team Collaboration
• Work closely with a supportive, multidisciplinary team
• Share ideas, contribute to a positive culture, and support team goals
Qualifications
• Education: Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
• Licensure/Certifications: Valid SLP license and BLS certification
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of SLP experience
• Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, problem‑solving, and patient‑engagement abilities
