View Point Health Job Title: Bilingual - Behavioral Health Clinical (Team Lead) Job Code: HCP053/Social Worker, Licensed Spv Shift: Full-Time (40 hours per week on average) Job Hours: 8AM-5PM - Times May Vary Base Location: Onsite/Hybrid - Norcross, GA. Division/Department/Program: Alianza Terapeutica Latina (ATL) Outpatient Center The Behavioral Health Clinical Team Lead is the working supervisor for a team of clinicians, med providers & /or paraprofessionals staff providing mental health & /or addictive disease treatment services. In addition to providing direct therapy services to clients and families the Team Lead provides day-to-day oversight, administrative leadership and supervision to subordinate staff, including service plan and documentation reviews for conformity to agency and payer requirements. Appropriately interprets, implements, and enforces compliance with agency policies and procedures and safety regulations. May assist with applicant interviews and hiring process. Trains and evaluates performance of staff. Schedules for staff coverage. Follows Fair Labor Standards Act and all other legal and agency requirements regarding scheduling, hours worked and granting compensatory time and overtime for non-exempt subordinates. Reviews time records submitted by non-exempt subordinates for accuracy and completeness. Apply consistent standards for approval or denial of leave that comply with agency policies and procedures related to use of leave and suggested minimum balances. Regularly counsels' employees whose leave balances or leave use are below standards and/or takes other appropriate disciplinary actions. Ensures that the pay information submitted to each employee is complete and accurate by verifying leave approvals and records of time worked. Promptly notify the manager and/or the Human Resources office when salaried employees go off the payroll due to resignations or require pay adjustments for leave without pay or other issues. Comply with legal requirements and agency policies regarding timelines and documentation for Family Leave requests and other requests for leave of absence. Duties & Responsibilities: Direct Clinical Care & Case Management Provides Professional Evidenced-Based therapeutic services to persons with mental illness and/or addictive disease. Arranges appointment schedule at optimal intervals to maximize use of work time. Conducts face-to-face comprehensive assessment to identify problems and service needs. Provides individual, family or group therapeutic counseling and/or educational and skill development sessions as indicated in the service plan. Monitors client progress and compliance with the service plan. Crisis Management Provides crisis intervention services to existing and walk-in clients as needed. May provide on-call, after-hours services on a rotational schedule. Assesses consumer's need for emergency admission certification. Executes the legal forms required to refer the client to an emergency receiving facility for evaluation of the need for involuntary commitment to a hospital or crisis intervention facility. arrange transfer of the client to the receiving facility. Clinical Documentation Writes individual service plans that meet Medicaid, insurer, CARF, and other required standards for diagnoses, content, justifications for treatment, evidence need of client input, and treatment time frames. Writes service plans that are clear, concise, complete, grammatically correct, timely, and properly coded. Secures or provides necessary signatures required to secure authorization for services. Follows all Medicaid, state, insurer, and other regulations related to the credentials required to provide authorized services. Writes timely progress notes that relate directly to the treatment outcomes described in the service plan. Assembles, analyzes, and interprets new/updated information about the client in order to reassess treatment needs. Identifies unmet needs, reviews available resources, and modifies the treatment plan as indicated. Requests treatment authorizations and re-authorizations within required time frames. Provides and bills only those client services that are authorized in the service plan. Case Mgmt, Referrals, Collateral & Treatment Team Contacts May serve as case manager to facilitate and ensure communication, linkage, and continuity of care between clients, physicians, other organizational components, community resources and service providers. Establishes linkages and coordination of services with community agencies. Develops and maintains cooperative working relationships with community service providers. Informs clients and families of the availability of community advocacy and support groups. Outpatient After-hours Call Rotation Clinicians are expected to assist in coverage of after-hours outpatient client calls via phone only. Rotations are for one week and the frequency of rotation is dependent on the number of staff covering the calls. An additional supplement is provided to staff that cover a weekly shift. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in social work and counseling from an accredited college or university AND licensure in the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience at the lower level Social Worker, Licensed 3 (HCP052) or position equivalent; OR Master's degree in social work and counseling from an accredited college or university and licensure in the area of assignment and there (3) years of experience in the provision of therapeutic services with which includes one (1) year in a managerial or supervisory role. Note: Licensed as an LPC or LCSW and ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English and Spanish Preferred Qualifications: · Experience with Carelogic or other ECR/EMR · At least one year of experience working in Community Mental Health Care with SPMI, MH & SA. Requirements/Competencies: Must be able to lift 20 pounds. Requires long periods of sitting/standing. Must have valid Georgia driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy. Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting). Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens. Note: Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
