Job Summary: The Security Operations Center (SOC) is a 24/7 intelligence and crisis response hub that provides command and control during emergencies, supporting employees enterprise-wide. The SOC Technology Security Coordinator designs and implements tactical operational processes and oversees key security systems, including video management, access control, and case management. This role also delivers data insights, audits automation, and supports system enhancements in collaboration with the Corporate Security Technology Program Manager. The position reports operationally and administratively to the SOC General Manager and has no direct reports.

Job Duties: • Leads SOC technology enhancement initiatives to integrate new tools, successfully launch improvements, and drive continuous development of existing policies and procedures.
• Analyzes existing operational processes, evaluates alignment with organizational goals, and recommends enhancements to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Designs and implements systems for monitoring, automation, and measurement of current and new business processes.
• Supports the SOC Supervisors and SOC General Manager by coordinating and delivering targeted training programs to ensure team members are equipped to perform tasks efficiently and in alignment with established procedures.
• Demonstrates expert written and verbal communication skills to develop and deliver system training and onboarding for SOC Operators.
• Actively participates in group training sessions and quarterly Tabletop Exercises (TTEs).
• Contributes feedback and recommendations in the development of new incident response policies and procedures.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by Unifi leadership and customer.
Qualifications: • High School diploma, GED or Equivalent high school certification.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience. (Supervisory preferred) .
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong work ethic.
• Must be able to obtain credentials, as required, per airport, state or customs requirements.
• Knowledge of security principles and practices preferred.
• Ability to evaluate problems and identify innovative solutions to achieve desired results.
• In-depth understanding of business processes and technology systems, with the ability to assess complex risks and design effective policies and internal controls.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional technical projects.
• Ability to multi-task and work a flexible schedule-including days, evenings, nights, and weekends-totaling 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime.
• Advanced proficiency in computer systems, software applications and MS Office Suite.
Experienced Required: • Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting a Security Operations Center (SOC), or working in a crisis management, command and control, or similar call center environment.
• Relevant work experience, college degree, or coursework in computer science, security/safety, law enforcement, or criminal justice is a plus.
Physical requirements: • Must be able to frequently lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs, including office supply boxes and similar items, as needed to support daily business operations.
• Employee will work inside customer corporate offices. Utilizes a personal work computer and may sit for long periods.
Working conditions: • Must be able and open to occasionally work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
Schedule- • Monday-Friday (Requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime, as needed).
Travel- • This position requires up to 5% travel with some overnight stays.
