  • Support preparation of project budgets and contract pricing, including GMP and Lump Sum projects; assist with cost tracking and forecasting.
  • Assist with negotiation and administration of subcontract and material agreements to ensure best value and alignment with project goals.
  • Track project schedules and milestones; proactively identify potential impacts and assist with recovery planning.
  • Support quality control processes to ensure work conforms to contract documents and healthcare standards.
  • Review contract requirements and assist with ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, including change events, delays, and correspondence.
  • Assist the Project Manager in identifying, mitigating, and resolving project risks, claims, and conflicts.
  • Support project closeout activities, including commissioning coordination, turnover documentation, and warranty follow-up (e.g., 1-year warranty walks).
  • Help build and maintain positive working relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors.
  • Assist in mentoring and coordinating project team members in alignment with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and help facilitate project meetings, including subcontractor coordination and internal management meetings.
  • Support preconstruction efforts as assigned, including constructability reviews, logistics input, and schedule development.
  • Assist estimating teams as needed, including quantity takeoffs or bid item reviews.
  • Support business development efforts through participation in interviews, pursuits, and client presentations, as requested.
  • Maintain timely, accurate reporting of project status, costs, and risks to the Project Manager and leadership.
  • Support delivery of projects that meet or exceed financial performance expectations through effective cost control and execution support.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 3-6 years of construction management experience, preferably supporting complex projects; healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a project team and progressively take on increased responsibility.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, project phases, or deliverables concurrently.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with owners, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard construction software, such as CMiC, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
  • Exposure to BIM coordination and clash detection processes; ability to participate in coordination meetings and track resolution of issues.
  • Working knowledge of construction contracts, change management, and basic project accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with healthcare construction requirements, including infection control (ICRA), interim life safety measures (ILSM), and work in occupied facilities.
