About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Affiliate Data Analyst to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our affiliate sales channel through insightful data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This will be a hybrid role working in the Inwood, NY, or Atlanta, GA area.
The salary range for this position is
$75, 000 to $85, 000 per year. Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
Key Responsibilities: 1. POS Sales Data Analysis - Analyze sales trends and performance metrics for tile products sold through affiliate channels.
- Generate and distribute regular reports on sales volume, revenue, and market share.
2. On-Hand Inventory Analysis - Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal in-store product availability (target: 98% in-stock rate).
- Partner with Supply Chain teams to support replenishment and stock planning.
3. Product Performance Evaluation - Conduct gap analyses to identify market opportunities and product performance.
- Assess customer demographics and purchasing behaviors to inform marketing and sales strategies.
4. Pricing Strategy - Evaluate pricing strategies and recommend changes based on market conditions, profitability, and competitive analysis.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Support the National Account Manager in aligning business strategies and initiatives.
- Participate in affiliate team meetings and assist with preparations and product presentations.
6. Reporting & Presentations - Develop and present analytical findings to affiliate leadership.
- Build dashboards and visualization tools to track KPIs and key business metrics.
7. Data Management - Maintain and update datasets related to sales, inventory, pricing, and market research.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency for all analytical and reporting activities.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
