About the Role:

The Quality Assurance Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring that products and services meet established standards of quality, safety, and reliability within the Other Services industry. This position involves conducting detailed inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products to identify defects or deviations from specifications. The inspector collaborates closely with production teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance overall quality. By maintaining meticulous records and reporting findings, the Quality Assurance Inspector supports compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality policies. Ultimately, this role contributes to customer satisfaction and the company's reputation by upholding the highest standards of quality assurance.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in quality inspection or a related role within a manufacturing or service environment.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards.
  • Basic knowledge of measurement tools and inspection techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or certification in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
  • Proficiency in using statistical process control (SPC) tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Utilize measurement tools and testing equipment to assess product attributes and identify any defects or inconsistencies.
  • Document inspection results accurately and prepare detailed reports highlighting any quality issues or non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to investigate quality problems and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality management system procedures during all inspection activities.
  • Participate in internal audits and assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain calibration records for inspection tools and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
