Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality general dental care across a range of ages, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic services
  • Diagnose and treat oral health conditions effectively
  • Create, present, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Educate patients and families about oral health and care options
  • Monitor patient growth and development, particularly for younger patients
  • Perform restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, bridges) and basic oral surgery as needed
  • Interpret X-rays and other diagnostic tests
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records
  • Uphold the highest standards of clinical care, professionalism, and ethics
  • Stay current with dental trends, technology, and best practices through continuing education


Qualifications

  • DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental program accredited by the ADA CODA
  • Current Georgia dental license or eligibility for licensure
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
  • Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
  • Proof of malpractice insurance
