ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Marketing and originating mortgage loans
• Managing mortgage loan processor and junior loan officer’s tasks
• Reporting compliance and ensure MCB follows the regulatory requirements
• Meeting and reporting to upper management on the financial performance by analyzing and recommending any changes to current procedures.
• Other tasks involving review of mortgage servicing process to ensure property booking of mortgage loan transactions.
• Compliance with bank policies and procedures and federal and state laws/regulations.
• Perform all duties in compliance with BSA/AML regulations and requirements.
• Obtains adequate data for CIP on all borrowers/guarantors on all new loans in accordance with policy.
• Ensures proper OFAC is performed on all borrower/guarantors before loan proceeds are disbursed.
• Monitors and reports suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
