Job Description
Masterack is hiring a Welder in Social Circle, GA. This is a full-time position.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder with experience in MIG and TIG welding of both aluminum and steel components. This position plays a critical role in fabricating quality products to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate MIG/TIG welding equipment according to production schedules.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure proper weld quality and product conformance.
• Weld and assemble components using samples, blueprints, or work instructions.
• Conduct destructive weld testing as required.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Create samples and prototypes for new products.
• Complete necessary documentation and records accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized 5S-compliant work environment.
• Report any machine or tooling issues to the Production Manager.
• Adapt to changing tasks and priorities as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, and calibrated measuring tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math and reading comprehension.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and material handling.
• Flexibility to work overtime on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of hands-on MIG/TIG welding experience.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
