Job Title: Paint Line Tender
Department: Paint/Pack
Reports To: Production Supervisor / Assistant Production Supervisor

Position Summary:

The Paint Line Tender is responsible for loading unpainted parts onto the paint line and unloading painted parts once completed. This position ensures product quality through inspection and contributes to efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load unpainted parts onto the paint line according to work instructions or production schedules.

• Unload painted parts and place them into designated containers at specified quantities.

• Inspect parts for damage, rust, dents, watermarks, and paint defects.

• Prepare and hang parts in the pre-hang area as needed.

• Communicate issues or irregularities to the team leader or supervisor promptly.

• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to repeatedly lift parts overhead and hang/unload from hooks positioned approximately 7 feet high.

• Capable of lifting or moving items up to 50 lbs consistently.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.

• Ability to perform frequent physical activities including lifting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and handling materials.

• Flexibility to work overtime on short notice when required .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in loading, unloading, or packing within a manufacturing or production environment.
