We are seeking a detail-oriented and critical-thinking Payroll Analyst to play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement.
As a Payroll Analyst, your primary role is to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of payroll by leveraging your attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a focus on automation. You will analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions to enhance payroll processes. Your expertise in payroll systems and automation tools will be crucial in driving efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.

What You Will Do- Oversee the payroll process for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues and provide exceptional customer service to employees.
- Analyze payroll processes and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, tax information, and deductions.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Review and verify payroll data, including employee hours, wages, deductions, and taxes.
- Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising the team on necessary adjustments.
- Perform special projects assigned by supervisor.
- Utilize critical thinking to troubleshoot and resolve issues and discrepancies
- Collaborate with payroll leadership and other departments to implement payroll automation.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- Experience in payroll processing and analysis.
- Experience in payroll software and systems; experience with SAP and/or Dayforce.
- Experience creating value in transformation and process improvements in payroll operations.
- Strong economic, analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Experience building relationships and partnerships, individually and organizationally.
- Experience working independently and managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
What Will Put You Ahead- Certification in Payroll (e.g., CPP, FPC)
- Experience with SAP, Kronos, Dayforce
