Your Job Koch Agronomic Services is seeking an Analytical Chemist to collaborate on base business efforts and the development and commercialization of new products into the agricultural market. What You Will Do - Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses primarily through liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry to determine active ingredient concentrations and product compositions
- Method development and method validation for liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry
- Perform data analysis, interpret results, and provide composition feedback to support new product development, quality control, manufacturing, and product troubleshooting
- Prepare detailed summaries and analytical reports to support business initiatives
- Provide technical support to various business capabilities including Research and Development, Quality, Procurement, and Production
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) - Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry with a focus on Analytical Chemistry
- 3-5 years of experience operating and troubleshooting analytical instruments, particularly focusing on liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry.
- Experience working with liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry in a research and development environment supporting commercial products, product development activities and/or scaling up commercial products.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
What Will Put You Ahead - Master's degree or higher in analytical chemistry
- Five (5) or more years of experience in an analytical laboratory setting
