Position Summary:

Partner with IT Finance Director, IT VP of Corp. Functions & IT Effectiveness, & IT VP of Transformation to establish and mature a fit-for-purpose financial planning & reporting and multidimensional IT costing capability integrated with Corp. FP& A processes that supports decision making in IT PC agile operating model.

Role will lead implementation of Apptio planning and costing tool as well as delivery of business case benefits and integration with overall IT operating model in conjunction / collaboration with IT operating model team. In addition, this implementation will automate current transactional work related to Pos, invoices, and accruals.

Role is responsible for developing and managing IT cost reporting and transparency initiatives, establishing ongoing productivity / optimization capabilities, and will take a lead role in developing a vision for a fit-for-purpose segment cost charge-back / allocation proposal. It starts with YOU.

In this role, you will:

  • Implement fit-for-purpose financial planning, reporting, and multidimensional costing capability to improve transparency and decision making.

  • Simplify and streamline IT PO > Invoice > Accrual management process to consolidate all activities to 2-3 roles or push it back to PO owners across IT while maintaining appropriate financial controls.

  • Develop and execute a change and communication program to embed new financial planning and cost transparency capability with the IT finance team, IT-LT, Cost Center Owners, BU FP& A and Stakeholders, and product owners.

  • Establish a productivity / cost optimization management system, supported by new financial capabilities, that is embedded across the IT organization and delivers 3-5% productivity on addressable spend annually.

  • Develop a IT showback and chargeback vision for the enterprise that improves decision making and accountability and unlocks value by improving run-invest and demand based trade-offs.

  • Manage resource ~4 to conclusion / achievement of 2-year transformation.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required. MBA beneficial.
  • 7+ years of progressive financial, business partnership, & leadership experiences. Demonstrable project and change management experiences desired. Technology Business Management (TBM) experience and / or CPG product costing experience preferred.
  • Technology: Understanding and exposure to digital technology industry, trends, products, & emerging technologies.
  • Industry: Multi-national, matrix organization experience desired.
  • Skills: Effective communication and ability to build a compelling business case. Strong analytical skills with strong understanding of business, finance, and economics principles.
