Job Title: Director, Public Safety

Job Description:

The Director, Public Safety position provides significant leadership expertise on complex issues and actively promotes business initiatives on behalf of InVeris’ market pursuits. Maintains primary responsibility for the Public Safety business including pipeline creation, sales training, and team development to ensure financial objectives are attained. This position works closely with Program and Product Management to ensure InVeris products maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace

Job Core Responsibilities:

  • Provides Business Development/Sales Strategies for the Public Safety business
  • Leads Market Intelligence Process for Product Roadmaps for Public Safety Virtual Business
  • Provides critical direction to the US and International Live Fire markets
  • Develops, hires, and trains the most talented sales team in the industry
  • Ensures business and financial strategic goals are attained.
  • Plans, facilitates, and/or conducts high-value contracts for solutions and/or services to produce revenue.
  • Proactively performance manages the Live Fire sales team to ensure goals are consistently achieved
  • Maintains effective customer relationships with key senior-level decision makers, aligning the customer's requirements with the organization's solutions.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Personal attributes required for this position:

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple functions
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of their time
  • Ability to independently provide technical demonstrations using InVeris products.

Job Specifications

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum BS degree required
  • Sales and leadership required
