Description:

To deliver the Americas company managed Operations Talent & Performance agenda and contribute to IHG’s global talent and inclusion strategy. Partnering closely with AMER Region Head of HR Operations, Regional Operations HRBP’s and Global Operations Talent Team to embed strong performance and talent practices that differentiates top talent, builds strong pipelines and an inclusive culture.

Your day to day

  • Being a Talent Strategist: Guide and implement the regional talent planning cycle, guidance and programs in close partnership with Global Operations Talent and Regional HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to build and maintain a strong operations talent pipeline.
  • Champion Performance Management: Partner and support HRBPs to manage the performance cycle for regional Operations talent to inspire, deliver and recognize high performance.
  • Deliver Talent & Inclusion Analytics: Providing insights on regional talent analytics, market trends and progress on initiatives to effectively embed and improve the regional strategy, performance cycle & framework, build/buy plans and recommended tools & resources.
  • Accelerate Talent Development and Retention: Manage the facilitation of regional/global talent pools as appropriate, working with HRBPs to implement and strengthen the regional build plans for critical roles; advise on development plans and accelerated pathways for key talent.
  • Partnering with Global and Regional Talent Teams: Contribute to global talent projects as agreed upon by the HR Leadership Team and Global Talent, e.g., building the framework for how we develop talent pipelines and career resources.
  • Working as One Team: Work in partnership with other internal partners in a matrixed organization (Talent Acquisition, Corporate Communications, Rewards, HRIS) ensuring integrated, proactive project and communications plans for seamless execution.

What we need from you

  • Experience in a talent/development role and/or experience as a HRBP in designing and delivering talent solutions
  • Sound understanding of talent and performance frameworks and which levers to pull to strengthen talent pipeline
  • Role model ‘Build One Team’ - A strong relationship builder able to collaborate and influence
  • Successfully own and drive projects, initiatives with leadership and attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset – actively uses data to form insights and spot opportunities

Travel - up to 25%

Location - this role can be based in any major US city and if ideal candidate is based in Atlanta our expectation is three (3) business days in the Atlanta office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
