Role Summary

The Community Association Banking (CAB) Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting the management and growth of the Community Association business for the bank. This leadership and client-facing role is responsible for developing and expanding relationships and establishing and driving the strategy and expansion of this business across our bank’s footprint and sales organization.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Manage and grow deposits and treasury revenue across the CAB portfolio.
  • Lead a team of relationship manager(s) focusing on growth, business development and retention of our CAB portfolio.
  • Work as a trusted advisor with all CAB business clients to deliver a tailored suite of deposit, Treasury Services, and third-party integrations.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Services and Commercial Banking teams to establish and drive business development strategies including input into product development, marketing, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Accountable for deposit growth and profitability of the CAB portfolio.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by understanding the needs of all CAB business clients and as well as being their advocate at the bank.
  • Assist management in the development of new products, integrations and services, marketing materials, and the establishment of sales objectives.
  • Provide leadership of assigned team, lead efforts in recruitment, interviewing, and training employees and plan, assign, and direct departmental work.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental goals to ensure alignment with company goals and vision.
  • Coach and provide ongoing performance feedback to employees, set realistic and measurable performance goals and ensure employees have appropriate professional development opportunities; effectively manage performance and assist employees to meet established company standards and expectations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and laws.
  • Complete all mandatory annual compliance training.
  • Follow regulatory requirements including those pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and OFAC to assist in the identification, detection and determent of money laundering and other unlawful activities, as well as regulations pertaining to lending and consumer compliance to include fair lending laws.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, business development, and/or treasury management.
  • Previous people leadership experience and experience growing a team of sales professionals.
  • Excellent client facing presentation, written, verbal, and virtual communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Substantial analytical skills and ability to assimilate complex information and problem-solve.
  • Strong ability to learn quickly and multi-task.
  • Ability to manage internal and external business partners to deliver solutions that meet prospects and client’s needs.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships internally and collaboratively develop strategies that support the Bank’s overall growth and profitability.
  • Sound decision making and reasoning skills.
  • Exhibits respect for others and always maintains high ethical and professional standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.

Preferred:

  • Educated business partner through CAI.
  • Other related CAM accreditations.
