Your Job

We are looking for a talented and experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join our Georgia-Pacific Software Engineering & Integration IT organization. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions that meets business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API specifications, and technical release notes. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively suggesting improvements to software development processes, tools, and methodologies.

What You Will Do

Working in an Agile team using either SCRUM or Kanban methodologies

  • Collaborate proactively with internal support teams, vendors, and customers for enhancements and break/fix support
  • Migrate existing applications to the Cloud while also engineering applications for Cloud scalability
  • Develop modern device agnostic user interfaces
  • Actively participate in code reviews and design discussions
  • Refining our technology vision, roadmap, and strategies with your colleagues
  • Learning about new applications, features, and APIs that can be used for new solution; Leveraging them to efficiently solve business problems


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Do you have at least 5 years of VB.Net & # experience.
  • Do you have at least 5 years of HTML/CSS/JavaScript experience.
  • Do you have at least 5 years of SQL Server experience.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • React, GraphQL experience.
  • Experience with Kendo or similar 3rd party controls
  • Experience with using Git, GitHub
  • Experience with using Azure Dev Ops
  • Understanding a procurement platform suite
