Your Job

We are currently looking for 2 National Accounts Managers Acquisition to prospect new key accounts for GP PRO.

The National Account Manager will be responsible for prospecting and acquiring new multi-segment national accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in new business sales. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong desire to prospect new customers, the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, and an understanding of multiple end user market segments. The NAM will develop and implement value-added acquisition strategies that support the GP National Accounts vision and create profitable long-term growth for Georgia Pacific. They will also engage national accounts teams at strategic distributor partners who support new business acquisition. This home-based position will report to the Sr. Director of National Accounts - Acquisition.

What You Will Do

  • Prospect and acquire new national accounts to drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Build an effective territory strategy that include fact-based assessments of the accessible market in your assigned area of responsibility to prioritize potential customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate agreements to maximize profitability and ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales activities and progress.
  • Efficiently utilize customer activity reports/files and various prospecting tools, such as Salesforce.com.
  • Attend live meetings, tradeshows, and related activities.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • 3 years of outside sales or equivalent experience
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite of Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 40%


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience and success in selling to new and existing customers, preferably larger or multi-site accounts.
  • Experience collaborating with distribution sales teams for mutual success
  • Experience applying a broad understanding of economic thinking and PBM® mental models to ensure fiscally sound and responsible proposals and decisions.
  • Experienced working with cross functional capabilities (Sales Ops, Category, Marketing, eCom).
  • Experience with financial acumen and reporting evaluation
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with CRM/Salesforce.com.

For this role, we anticipate paying between $80, 000 and $140, 000/year plus sales incentive program.
