G eorgia - Pacific's Corporate Capabilities IT team is seeking a n Enterprise Process Architect to support our Finance (Accounting, Tax, Treasury), Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS& P), Compliance and Ethics (C& E) and Human Resources (HR) capabilities . This is an internal role reporting to the VP of Corporate Capabilities IT and has responsib i l ity for documenting current state processes, designing and optimizing future state processes to drive efficiency and strategic objectives, process monitoring and measurement, and identifying and implementing technology solutions to enable process automation, ensuring that our business processes are efficient, scalable, and adaptable to evolving business needs. This position is an integral part of Capabilities IT commitment to being a trusted partner delivering high-quality IT services that drive superior business outcomes for Georgia-Pacific.

The Enterprise Process Architect will directly contribute to GP's success by ensuring our processes are efficient, effective, and capable of supporting strategic initiatives. Through the identification and implementation of automation technologies, this role will enhance operational agility and drive significant value creation across the enterprise.

What You Will Do

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

Process Design and Optimization:

  • Document and a nalyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Design and document new process architectures that align with business objectives and enhance performance.
  • Develop metrics to assist business partners with monitoring the performance of business processes and identify areas for further improvement .


Technology Enablement and Automation:

  • Identify and evaluate technology solutions that can enable process automation and drive operational efficiency.
  • Define the implementation of automation technologies, ensuring they are seamlessly integrated into business processes and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Define the implementation of reporting technologies to assist with process monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of emerging automation tools and trends to continually enhance organizational capabilities.


Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and ensure process solutions meet business requirements.
  • Participate in the prioritization of process automation enablement based on outcome and value working with Business Architecture and Portfolio Management .


Leadership and Advocacy:

  • Act as a champion for process innovation and automation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge across GP to help guide team members on process architecture and automation methodologies.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • E xperience in process architecture, business process design, or related roles.
  • E xperience with process automation technologies and tools (e.g., RPA, BPM software).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in process architecture and automation .
  • A bility to understand the business vision, strategy, and priorities and translate them into process designs and automations that drive superior results.
  • Proficiency at forming metrics and delivering useful reporting to influence business strategies.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Certifications in process management methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, BPMN).
  • Experience in a specific industry sector relevant to the organization (e.g., manufacturing, finance).
  • A "big picture" focused and thinking.
  • Experience with supporting technology in a manufacturing setting .
