Savannah, GA is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as an
Electrical and Instrumentation (E& I) Technician. This highly skilled position will support our operations efficiency through troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment and processes. Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts on days and nights with weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Schedules could adjust as operations support requires

What You Will Do - Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures and actively participate in the safety programs
- Perform various electrical tasks found in an industrial manufacturing environment (construction, instrumentation support, motor controls troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, etc.)
- Use experience and technical capabilities to solve problems and implement improvements
- Utilize equipment manuals, operations knowledge shares, on the job experience, and direct operator engagement to support the facility
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all electrical equipment and instrumentation
- Assist operators or crew members with machine start-up, shutdown or clean up
- Utilize computerized maintenance management system to document all work details\hours and create daily turnover reports.
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in an industrial environment
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- Four (4) years or more working in the electrical field in an industrial environment
- Two (2) years or more experience in instrument & controls troubleshooting
- Experience with industrial controls PLCs, motor controls, control valves, and electrical distribution
- Experience reading and following electrical and mechanical schematics/blueprints
- Experience working from ladders, utilizing hand tools, and performing skills required for electrical construction
What Will Put You Ahead- Structured training in Electrical Systems, Instrumentation, or Electronic Technology
- Four (4) years or more of electrical/electronic or instrument & control troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience programming variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Experience going online with Rockwell PLC's for troubleshooting purposes
