Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a
Demand Planning Process Manager to join our Consumer Products Supply Chain Capability Team! This team is responsible for unlocking value through supply chain analytics, reporting and optimization within current supply chain constraints, while also moving our supply chain closer to its full potential.
The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, resourceful, and an effective communicator who can analyze technical data and transform it to clear and concise content. Success in this role also requires the ability to build working relationships and partner across capabilities. The Demand Planning Process Manager supports our CPG business and will report to the Senior Manager of Planning Process.
Location: The CPG team works from our Corporate HQ in Downtown Atlanta, GA . This is a visible role where fostering relationships and collaborating with teams across the company will be key to your success. While GP offers some work location flexibility, we have an approach that includes a weekly in-office presence.

What You Will Do in Your Role In this role, you will help advance Georgia-Pacific's demand planning capabilities by combining strong demand planning fundamentals with process, technology, and analytical innovation. You will work closely with business partners, IT, and supply chain stakeholders to understand demand planning processes and best practices, identify pain points, and translate business needs into scalable solutions that improve forecasting accuracy, adoption, and decision-making.
The role description is intentionally broad and future-focused, supporting the evolution of the supply chain and enabling the adoption of new technologies and advanced analytics as the organization continues to define where to invest next.
Key responsibilities include:
- Learn, apply, and continuously improve demand planning processes and best practices across the enterprise
- Contribute to the advancement and adoption of innovative solutions, including advanced analytics and emerging technologies, to take demand planning to the next level
- Analyze day-to-day demand planning outputs (e.g. forecasts, statistical models) to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business needs
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting performance by enhancing processes, models, metrics, and tools
- Partner with IT, analytics, and cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement improvements within SAP IBP and related technologies
- Support and enhance reporting and metrics (e.g., MAPE, BIAS) to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste
- Guide and support core Sales & Operations Planning (S& OP) processes
- Maintain, research, and evolve forecasting models and statistical baselines
- Document processes and deliver training to build and sustain organizational capability
- Participate in and help lead communities of practice to foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing
- Challenge the status quo, influence stakeholders without authority, and drive change that creates value across the supply chain

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) - Experience in demand planning or supply chain planning, with exposure to forecasting models and statistical baselines
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, or similar supply chain planning tools
- Comfortable partnering with IT and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into system or process improvements
- Experience leading or facilitating discussions with cross-functional stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical, system-based, and structured problem-solving skills
- Ability to listen to business needs, identify opportunities, and drive solutions collaboratively
- Ability to influence without authority and support cross-functional change
What Will Put You Ahead - MBA or bachelor's degree with a concentration in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Experience in a high-volume consumer goods environment supporting demand planning, forecasting, advanced analytics, or production planning
- Experience working in or supporting a manufacturing or operations production facility environment
- Experience helping drive adoption of new planning tools, analytics, or technologies within a supply chain organization
