Job Description
DuraTrench is hiring a Production Plastic Worker in Dallas, GA. This is a full-time position.
Monday-Thursday 6am-4: 30pm & Friday 6am-2: 30pm Position overview: Working in the Plastics Department consists of performing one of three key roles: Spray, Roller, or Prep. The Production Plastics team member will be responsible for tasks within their assigned role to support overall department efficiency. Laborers assigned to the Plastics Department will work in one of these three area: Spray, Roller, or Prep based on operational needs ABOUT US: We are a Trench drain manufacturing company currently hiring for several permanent positions. Advancement to leadership positions available. PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must provide a completed application in ordered to be considered for any available positions. Applicants that provide an updated resume will be prioritized. Plastic: Assist in the Plastic process of manufacturing trench drains and related productsPrep, clean and polish formsBuild and efficiently stack pallets with finished products (trenches and grates)Prepare pallets for shipmentContribute to the overall facility production goals on a daily basisOther duties as assigned Responsibilities: Maintain a safe work environment with a safety first mindsetFollow all safety processes and proceduresOperate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasksAssist with the fabrication and assembly of products in any Production Department - Spray department. Qualifications (for all departments): Must be at least 18 years of ageMust have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience as a LaborerDependability to report to workMust be able to read a tape measureMust be able to effectively use a variety of hand toolsMust be able to read and interpret simple shop drawingsBilingual (English and Spanish, both oral and written) is a plusMust pass a drug screen and background checkMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust have a valid state-issued drivers license Education (for all departments): High school diploma or GED preferred Supervisory requirements: None Competencies (for all departments): Ability to prioritize work tasks and multi-taskAbility to withstand extreme temperatures (hot and cold) and outside elementsAbility to stand/walk/crouch/bend frequently throughout entire shift (up to 10 hours)Ability to lift 50 pounds regularlyAbility and willingness to work overtime as neededEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferredMust be able to form advantageous work relationships with peers, managers and plant management
