Finisher Worker (Metals)

The Finisher will be responsible for finishing metal parts and grates that are manufactured in the Metals Shop. Monday-Thursday: 6am - 4: 30pm Friday: 6am-2: 30pm Responsibilities: Maintain a safe work environment with a safety first mindsetFollow all safety processes and proceduresPerform daily and repetitive hand finishing operationsAble to operate a sandblasting boothMaintain the desired level of quality required for satisfactory production outputAssist in the operation of the powder coating machine (loading, operating and unloading)Other duties as assigned, such as minor maintenance tasks Qualifications: Must have some Grinding and Finishing skillsMust have experience working with MetalMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust be at least 18 years of ageMust pass a drug screen and background check Education: High school diploma or GED preferred Supervisory requirements: None Competencies: Ability to use a variety of hand toolsAbility to read a tape measure to 1/16"Understand work instructions as delivered by ManagerAbility to withstand extreme temperatures (hot and cold) and outside elementsAbility to stand/walk/crouch/bend frequently throughout entire shift, up to 10 hoursAbility to lift 50 pounds regularlyAbility and willingness to work overtime as neededAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a steady state of outputMust have an eye for detail
