Concessions International LLC is hiring!

Description:

Purpose of Position:

This position responsibility includes identifying and developing business strategies and new opportunities to ensure the continued growth of Concessions International. Researches new business formats and brands to improve offerings at existing and prospective airport locations. Establishes and maintains relationships with existing and potential clients. Serves as leader in negotiations with potential partners, subtenants and brands; supports start-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identifies potential opportunities for CI in emerging markets to expand the scope and diversification of the operations, including request for proposals and acquisition targets.

2. Project lead in analyzing and responding to request for proposal opportunities.

3. Leads and directs the proposal preparation and submission process.

4. Develops and maintains positive client relationships with current and potential airport clients.

5. Develops and maintains knowledge of trends and business models for other venues including hotels, shopping areas, parks, and any other identified opportunities.

6. Develops and maintains extensive contacts within food service property development industries and industry associations.

Decision-Making Authority:

Position exercises significant judgment on a daily basis in managing business development projects. Decisions that may commit the company to a significant course of action or expose the company to substantial risk must be presented to the President.

Qualifications:

Education/Previous Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of five (5) years experience in franchise sales, strategic business planning, business analysis, concessions management, etc. Familiarity with airport concessions or retail development environment and business structure essential.

Knowledge of airport and related types of concessions.

Language Skills:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence. Create correspondence and memos; ability to interpret documents. Ability to effectively communicate information individually and in group situations to customers, co-workers and staff. Must be approachable and effective with communicating with all levels in the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply reasonable understanding in carrying out instructions in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Data entry skills with accuracy. Exceptional project management skills. Excellent organizational and record keeping skills. Attention to detail. Strong service orientation.
