Blue Force Gear, Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Technician in Pooler, GA. This is a full-time position.
WERE HIRING: QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN Blue Force Gear | Pooler, GA Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for making sure products are built right the first time? At Blue Force Gear, quality is critical to everything we produce. Were looking for a Quality Control Technician who can inspect materials and products throughout the manufacturing process, identify quality concerns, and work with our teams to ensure every piece of tactical gear meets BFGs high standards. What Youll Do Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished tactical gear to ensure quality standards are met.Perform visual, measurement, and durability inspections throughout the production process.Identify and document quality issues, defects, and required corrective actions.Reject products that do not meet quality standards and coordinate repairs with Production or subcontractors.Create and maintain quality documents, procedures, inspection checklists, and records.Ensure established quality procedures are followed during each stage of production.Work with internal production teams and subcontractors to communicate and resolve quality concerns.Review and approve counter samples and production standards for internal and subcontractor reference.Manage the distribution of Quality Tech Packs and approved quality samples.Partner with Product Development to review product standards and verify quality requirements on new products.Evaluate returned products (RMAs), determine product disposition, and document repairs.Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and appropriate departments in a timely manner.Support cross-functional teams in meeting production and order deadlines.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while supporting BFGs 6S initiatives. What Were Looking For Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify product defects and inconsistencies.Experience with quality control, quality inspection, or manufacturing preferred.Ability to conduct visual and measurement-based product inspections.Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.Ability to investigate quality concerns and help identify corrective actions.Strong communication skills and confidence working with production teams, Product Development, and subcontractors.Ability to review product designs and specifications for quality and manufacturability.Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to recognize barriers and communicate concerns quickly.Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a sense of urgency.Dependable, accountable, and willing to act like an owner when it comes to product quality.
