Job DescriptionThe dispatcher schedules, coordinates, dispatches, and monitors Badger units within a defined region following national processes and procedures. This role requires the flexibility to work nights and weekends.
Salary: The compensation for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Be Doing: - Manages dispatch calendar (Google calendar, etc.)
- Manages daily dispatch activities (availability and time approval by Branch Manager (BM), dispatching closest trucks, etc.)
- Converts opportunities to sales requests (SR) and confirms with owner (Outside Sales Representative (OSR), General Manager (GM), or Branch Manager (BM))
- Answers central dispatch phone line in a timely and professionally
- Processes requests from existing (standard) customers
QualificationsWhat We're Looking For: - Education: high school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years dispatch experience, preferred
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes, and personnel
- Knowledge of computers for scheduling and other dispatching duties, Oracle Field Operations module preferred
What You'll Need for Success: - Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time
- Ability to work under stress and remain calm and to calm other people during rapidly changing circumstances
- Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment
