Description:

Title & Abstract Agency of America, Inc - is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Title Processor to join our team in the Tampa office!

The Title Processor will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless preparation and the finalization of real estate closings. This full-time position requires a professional with strong communication skills, a commitment to teamwork, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Closer in all aspects of the real estate closing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Daily monitoring of incoming orders to include entry & distribution to appropriate parties.
  • Prepare and review closing documents. Including ordering title and municipal lien searches, surveys, and HOA Estoppel letters.
  • Coordinate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties to gather necessary information and clarify closing requirements.
  • Clearly and professionally communication with all parties involved to resolve any issues or questions that may arise during the closing process.
  • Track and monitor closing timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and balance final numbers for closing transactions. Including ordering payoffs and preparing invoices.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Title Processor or similar role in the real estate or title insurance industry.

  • Minimum of one year of experience in title searching and/or examining
  • Good typing skills
  • Familiarity with Ramquest or SoftPro
  • Able to work in the office at least 4 days per week
  • Some closing experience is a plus
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
